Corequisite Remediation
The corequisite initiative aims to increase gateway course completion within a student's first year of college, by enrolling entering students into college-level math and English courses. Corequisite provides those who need additional help with a concurrent course or lab that offers academic support. This reduces the time to completion and helps cut the cost for students to pay for non-credit bearing courses.
Corequisite Workshop
MDHE and the Dana Center will host a Corequisite Workshop on Friday, Sept. 21, 2018, in Jefferson City at Capital Plaza Hotel. This workshop is targeted toward institutions who are looking to implement corequisite models of education and/or continue their work with corequisite education. The workshop will have content-specific sessions for math faculty.
