The Missouri Department of Higher Education has developed a "'library" of courses that will transfer on a one-to-one equivalent basis among all public two- and four-year colleges and universities and participating private institutions in Missouri. The Transfer Course Library will help prevent students from having to take courses they previously completed at another college or university, saving them time and money as they work toward earning a degree.

The Coordinating Board of Higher Education approved 26 courses for the library in 2014. The department will continue to work with public and participating private institutions to expand the library.

The Transfer Course Library includes the following courses:

  • Biology lecture for non-majors
  • Biology laboratory for non-majors
  • Calculus I

  • Drawing I
  • French I
  • French II
