Please note: The department does not have the expertise or the resources to evaluate the validity of degrees held by faculty and staff from higher education institutions outside of the United States. Applications that include resumes for individuals that hold such degrees must include an evaluation of the equivalency of those credentials. While the department may approve other evaluation organizations, if they are determined to be reliable and recognized within the higher education community, it is recommended that such evaluations be conducted by the American Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers (AACRAO). Information about this service can be found on the AACRO website.

Please remember you must request and receive a complete initial application packet in order to formally submit your application for certification. These excerpts are provided to supplement that information and assist you in completing that application.
