Default Prevention Day

Offered to colleges and universities across Missouri, Default Prevention Day provides a free, half-day default prevention training workshop.

Journey to College Day

Offered for the first time in July of 2016, Journey to College Day features presentations on college access and student success topics such as serving homeless youth and Missouri's Journey to College programs and services. Planning for either a spring or summer 2017 Journey to College Day is currently underway.

Mapping Your Future

The Missouri Department of Higher Education sponsors Mapping Your Future, a nonprofit organization, to allow Missouri schools and students to utilize their resources for free. Mapping Your Future helps students and schools navigate the higher education and student loan process through career, college, and financial aid counseling resources, including webinars on topics such as the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).

Customized presentations and speaking services

Upon request, the Missouri Department of Higher Education offers customized presentations on default prevention, financial literacy topices relevant to students, and Planning & Paying for College. To arrange for a speaker, complete the MDHE's online speaking event form.
