MDHE Staff Here to Help You

Do you need personalized assistance or onsite training from the Missouri Department of Higher Education? The MDHE has staff in the field who work daily to build relationships within Missouri. They log in the miles and cover the state - from the bootheel to the Iowa border and all points in between - to provide speaking and event services and technical assistance to Missouri's financial aid community, high school guidance counselors, secondary personal finance teachers and other professionals dedicated to helping students succeed in and obtain access to higher education.

Kim Howe

Client Service Representative

Kim Howe has more than 12 years of experience in the field of financial aid working in positions such as a financial aid counselor and scholarship/work-study coordinator. Kim has been a client service representative with the MDHE for eight years.

Marilyn Landrum

Supervisor, Default Prevention and Financial Literacy

Marilyn Landrum has more than a decade of experience with the MDHE in default prevention and financial literacy services and is also an Accredited Financial Counselor through the Association for Financial Counseling, Planning, and Education (AFCPE).

Sarah Schedler

Program Specialist, Default Prevention and Financial Literacy

Sarah Schedler has more than six years of experience with the MDHE in default prevention and financial literacy services and is currently pursuing her certification as an Accredited Financial Counselor through the Association for Financial Counseling, Planning, and Education (AFCPE).

Lisa Wilson

Outreach Services Coordinator

Lisa Wilson, the MDHE's Outreach Services Coordinator, manages and conducts the MDHE’s participation in outreach activities such as college fairs and “Planning and Paying for College” workshops and also plays a significant role in managing FAFSA Frenzy events (a program of College Goal SundaySM). Lisa has more than 12 years experience with the MDHE, with the last two spent in the outreach area.
