We are saddened today by the death of former Senator Betty Sims, a member of the Coordinating Board for Higher Education since 2010. Betty dedicated her life to improving the lives of all Missourians – especially our youngest citizens. She truly believed in the importance of providing quality educational opportunities to all. Missouri has lost a great public servant, and the board has lost a great friend. Her impact will be felt for years to come and we will miss the integrity, energy and enthusiasm she brought to everything she did.
