Missouri Mathematics Summit
The 2015 Missouri Mathematics Summit will be held Friday, October 30 in Jefferson City, Mo. The Missouri Department of Higher Education, with support from Complete College America, is hosting the 2015 Summit to explore and discuss the recently drafted Missouri Mathematics Pathways Report developed by the Missouri Mathematics Pathways Taskforce, and to work toward securing a foundation for the implementation of new mathematics pathways for students. The Summit will provide attendees with opportunities to network, hear informative presentations, and inquire about as well as share best practices in postsecondary mathematics reform. All Missouri higher education institutions are invited to attend the Summit.
The Summit will take place at the Harry Truman State office Building located at 301 W High Street, Jefferson City, MO 65101. The registration desk will open at 7:30 a.m. in the General Session room, room 490 - 492, and a continental breakfast will begin at this time in room 400. The Summit will then begin in the General Session room at 8:30 a.m. and will end at 3:30 p.m. There are several free parking lots located near the Harry Truman Building, and you may click here for an interactive map of these parking lots and their proximity to the Truman Building.
Should you need overnight accommodations, the department has reserved a block of rooms at the Capitol Plaza Hotel, located directly across from the Harry Truman Building at 415 W McCarty Street, Jefferson City, MO 65101.
