Program Specialist – Academic Affairs

Responsibilities: The incumbent in this position performs a variety of administrative support duties and activities requiring the application of technical or specialized program knowledge. Works as part of a team to support staff functions in the Academic Affairs unit, including statewide initiatives, responding to public inquiries, organizes program activities; provides complex administrative assistance for agency staff; schedules meetings and coordinates logistical arrangements for travel and unit activities. Performs other duties as assigned.


Qualifications: Associate degree from an accredited college or university and two years of advanced administrative experience are required. Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university preferred. Candidate must possess excellent analytic, written and oral communication, as well as strong organizing and problem-solving skills. Candidate must also be flexible, able to prioritize assignments and work effectively in a team environment. Proficiency in use of Microsoft Office and other technology also required.


Starting Salary: $29,676
