Responsibilities: This position assists in managing Missouri’s student access and success programs and services, including college admissions application and FAFSA completion assistance, financial literacy and “Planning and Paying for College” workshops, and more. Work involves planning, gathering, compiling, verifying, and disseminating informational material; editing and maintaining web content, resource manuals, college access curriculum, Powerpoint presentations, and videos; and communicating with external audiences through listservs, email, and in-person activities. Audiences served by the agency’s access and success services include students, parents, high school counselors, college access professionals, and postsecondary staff. Work also involves maintaining access-success area online registration forms, written procedures, and year-end outcome reports. This position reports to the Director of Student Access and Success Programs. Other duties as assigned. Some travel required.


Qualifications: Three years of professional experience within secondary or higher education fields or in a closely related position. Graduation from an accredited two- or four-year college or university. Candidate must possess excellent organization, problem solving, writing, and customer service skills. Must be motivated to take initiative, able to prioritize assignments, and work effectively in a team environment. Position is located in Jefferson City.


Compensation: $38,304 - $46,056
