The Missouri Department of Higher Education has developed a 'library' of courses that will transfer on a one-to-one equivalent basis among all public two- and four-year colleges and universities and participating private instituions in Missouri. The Transfer Course Library will help prevent students from having to take courses they previously completed at another college or university, saving them time and money as they work toward earning a degree.

The Coordinating Board of Higher Education has approved a total of 26 courses so far. The department will continue to work with public and participating private institutions to expand the library.
